Practicing yoga is the perfect way to move your body and calm your mind at the same time. If you want to get started at home here are a few things I use every day when I practice yoga. Give them a try!
1. Yoga Mat
It’s important to have a mat because your feet will slip and slide on surfaces like carpet or wood floors. A yoga mat also helps make the overall yoga session more enjoyable. This is a terrific all-purpose mat.

Blocks provide stability and support as you move through different positions. You will need two of them.
Yoga straps are used to help give you a wider range of motion and aid in stretching. These are my favorite.
4. Yoga Pants
Yoga sessions move your body in many ways so you want to be sure you have the right clothing that offers maximum coverage and is able to strength along with you. I like these high waisted yoga pants.
