A Hotel Review of the Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach

LOCATION 

The Resort is all about the location. The property sits on the iconic Pacific Coastline and just steps away from the beautiful beach. The resort is located within walking distance from everything you would want to do and see in town including the pier, shops, and dining. 

The city of Huntington Beach is located between Los Angeles and San Diego with roughly a 40 min and 1 hour drive respectively. If you are coming in from out of state you can also look at John Wayne Airport in Orange County which is another close option. Consider visiting Laguna Beach, Disneyland, and other beach towns on your trip! 

THE PROPERTY 

This is a great resort that offers something for every type of traveler. If you are travelling with kids or on a romantic adult getaway you can rest assured knowing there are two outdoor pool areas with one dedicated to adults-only. The larger pool area has a zero entry pool perfect for the little ones as well as a water slide (perfect for the Travel Mom). You will also find some fun oversized games like chess, cornhole, and more. There are cabana areas you can rent as well by the pool for ultimate luxury and comfort. 

The resort overlooks the beach so of course you will want to enjoy everything the ocean has to offer. Consider getting a surf lesson or renting a board to catch some waves. Rent a bike or an E bike and cruise the paved strand right along the sand. Join in on one of the many beach volleyball games that you will see going on during the day.

There is no better way to unwind after a beach day than a day at the Spa. Head over to the Drift Spa for massages and spa treatments (this is a great way to use those Hilton Amex Credits)

There are a few great dining options available on property. Enjoy cocktails and delicious bites at Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Beach Club which provides a laid back vibe serving coastal Mexican Cuisine. There is also a Sand Bar down by the beach as well. 

Head to Henry’s Coastal Cuisine and dine in style combining flavors of French and the California Coast. 

You will definitely want to head to the Offshore 9 Rooftop Lounge for enjoying a California Sunset as you sip on craft cocktails by the fireplace.  For quick bites or a coffee head to Surf Hero Market before or after a day at the beach.
