Of course, if you are looking to get out of the city you can easily rent a car in the city for the day and head out to some of the beautiful neighboring beach towns like Coronado Island or La Jolla. The San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and many theme parks like legoland are also just a short drive away.

THE PROPERTY

This resort does a great job of combining a metropolitan high-rise tower with outdoor space and amenities. You can easily escape the downtown feel and immerse yourself outdoors with their spacious pool, large grass areas, outdoor bar, and a walking path right along the water.

Out back you will find a large pool and hot tubs lined with Palm Trees as you soak in the beautiful San Diego Weather. You will also find The Pool Club with a great outdoor bar and lounge area with fire pits.

Head to the Odysea Indoor and Outdoor bar that overlooks the city and bay. This is the go to spot for light snacks or evening drinks.

This resort has a convention center and is also just steps away from the main San Diego Convention Center as well.

If you’re looking for a beach day you can hop on a ferry across the bay and head to Coronado Island which is a great beach town and has some of the best beaches in all of San Diego.
