Travel Talk with Juan “Mr. Tequila” Bonilla

Contrary to popular belief, Mexico’s independence is not celebrated on Cinco de Mayo.

The celebration of the country’s birthday actually starts on Sept. 15, the eve of Mexican Independence Day, when cities across Mexico reenact the rally screams of the country’s independence.

In this episode of Travel Talk with the Travel Mom, I spoke to Juan “Mr. Tequila” Bonilla, who has garnered that nickname for his love of tequila as well as becoming an expert on the business and culture behind the industry, all the while exporting and consulting for the past 10 years.
