How To Avoid the 14 Day Quarantine when Traveling to Hawaii

Hawaii is one of my favorite places in the whole world.  My husband and I honeymooned on Maui and returned to The Islands many times over the years.  It is a place filled with warm, welcoming people, loads of history and culture, outstanding outdoor adventures and so much more.

The state of Hawaii has implemented new procedures to assist in welcoming guests without requiring a mandatory 14 day quarantine.  Here are the steps you need to follow if you are considering making a visit to Hawaii.

Create your user account at www.travel.hawaii.gov.  This portal will ask for your trip details and provide a place to upload a negative Covid test. The test must be conducted at an approved partner and the results must be no later than 72 hours of arrival.  A photo ID and health questionnaire are required. Once everything is received and approved you will receive a QR code to be presented as you travel.  It is best to have this on your phone to make the process easy.  The website is very helpful with a step by step video if you have additional questions.

When the time is right, and you are ready, Hawaii is waiting to welcome you with safety protocols and Aloha.
